The table covers model years 2009 to 2019 (model years with a page: 7; UK MOT readings in total: 61,976, from 2023 tests). The oldest model year, 2009, has a median of 203,705 km and the newest, 2019, 54,450 km: the older year’s median is 274% higher. The 10th to 90th percentile range is widest relative to the median for 2019 (112% of the median) and narrowest for 2009 (72%). Between directly consecutive model years (pairs compared: 4), the newer year’s median is on average 12,800 km lower. In every compared pair the newer model year has the lower median.
