Who is behind OdoTrace
OdoTrace is operated by Martynas Urbanavicius, established in Poland. You can reach it at [email protected].
Reporting an error on a page
Please include the page address, the source name and date involved, what is wrong, and what the original source says. You do not need to send a VIN, plate or personal details for a general correction. Links to the original publication help most.
OdoTrace can correct its own pages and calculations. It cannot change a record held by an official register or other source. For that, contact the authority that publishes it.
Privacy and data requests
You can ask what OdoTrace holds about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Please say what you are asking for and how to reply to you. The privacy notice explains what is stored and why most of it is a digest rather than a readable identifier.
Do not send a full VIN or number plate unless you want OdoTrace to search for a stored record: only then is it needed, because stored results can be found only from the identifier they were made from. If you send one, it will be used only for that search.
What not to send
- Registration documents, ID, photographs of documents or payment details.
- Information about other people that is not needed for your request.
What to expect
OdoTrace is run as a small independent project. Messages are read and handled as time allows, and no response time is promised. For a privacy request, OdoTrace may ask you to confirm details needed to find the right records. Where a message is about a safety-critical question on a particular car, contact the seller, manufacturer or the relevant authority directly rather than waiting for a reply.
