The dates differ: the Finnish value is the last reading in a register extract of 2026, while the UK figures are readings from 2023 tests, so cars of the same first-use year are several years older in the Finnish figure, which by itself adds tens of thousands of kilometres. A higher or lower Finnish figure does not show that Finnish cars are driven more or less.

What this is, and what it is not
These figures show an aggregate distribution for many 2005 Vauxhall Astra cars, computed from UK DVSA MOT odometer readings as a fleet proxy. The MOT dataset is anonymised and contains no VIN or personal data.
It is not a per-VIN history. It cannot tell you the mileage of one specific car or whether a particular odometer was wound back. Use it as a sanity check: a reading far below the typical band for the age is a clue worth investigating, not proof of anything on its own.
